Winegrowers from father to daughter since 1969, Magali Bernard and her partner Arnaud Hennoque cultivate 15 ha of vines in AOC Bourgogne Coulanges la Vineuse. These independent winegrowers welcome visitors to taste their red, white, and rosé Coulanges wines, as well as their Crémant and Ratafia de Bourgogne. The wines are vinified and aged in the old underground Bourgogne stone vats and matured in large oak barrels of 4400 to 5200 litres, or standard barrels. You will discover a number of vintages: the classic rounded and fruity Coulanges, typical of the AOC, as well as vintages that provide a different expression of the Terroir, such as the Cuvée Colline, named after their daughter, which is a blend of Pinot Noir and César grapes (15%), both concentrated and supple, with an explosion of fruity flavours. Their Cuvée Chanvan is made with grapes from one of the finest hillsides in the area, formerly known as the "Clos du Roi". It is more structured with slight woody notes due to its 24 months of maturing in barrels. Also try the Cuvée Charly, a Chardonnay vinified and aged in barrels. Since this autumn, visitors are welcomed to their ancient winegrowing property equipped with wine bar. Wines and local produce from the Yonne area await!
