Quiet, non-polluting and not requiring a permit, you can admire the superb panorama of Auxerre in peace and quiet, setting off from the Marina (point of hire). If you're charmed by the boat trip and would like to prolong the pleasure, you can sail on along to the locks of the Nivernais Canal, taking you through wonderful countryside. First of all, you'll sail past the Arbre Sec, one of Auxerre's most picturesque parks, and then you'll see some of the sporting facilities here (tennis courts, the Abbé Deschamps football stadium, watersports centre, canoeing club, leisure centre…).
And lastly, you'll plunge into our green, undulating and shady landscapes. If you decide to go all the way, you'll get as far as Champs sur Yonne. So don't wait around, get on board!
