History Trail
Since the summer of 2001, ""the history trail"" will take you on a discovery of the town's treasures by following a coral coloured line painted on the ground. This pedestrian trail means you can admire the remarkable monuments at your own pace, as well as explore picturesque streets, stumble across secluded viewpoints or lively quarters. You'll be treated with 67 curiosities making up this visit of Auxerre and learn about their history through explanations in a brochure available from the Tourist Office (price : 1.50 €). You can choose to do the whole or just part of this trail. Suggestions on the plan are made to help you see the main sites. So why wait around, follow the trail!"
