Explore Auxerre and Auxerrois on an electric or hybrid bike
To help you enjoy the wealth of Auxerre's historic centre and explore the multiple treasures of its region, the Tourist Office of Auxerre and Auxerrois has two types of bike available for you :
Electric bikes
With an autonomy of 2 hr 30, these electric bikes are an original way of exploring the historic centre and region around Auxerre without weariness. Why wait to come and try them? You'll find you can't do without one!
Hybrid bikes
6 hybrid bikes for men and women are available from the Tourist Office of Auxerre and Auxerrois to set off along the beaten track and explore our region's wealth. A range of guides with walks and cycling itineraries are available from the Tourist Office:
- The topoguides "Auxerre et ses environs à pied" (In and around Auxerre on foot) at €12.95,
- "L’Yonne à pied" (The Yonne on foot) at €12.80,
- "Entre Cure et Yonne" (Between the Cure and Yonne rivers) at €7.80,
- "La traversée du Morvan" (Crossing Morvan) at €13.95,
- « Le sentier Saint-Jacques de Compostelle : la voie de Vézelay" (the Saint Jacques de Compostelle way: the Vézelay way) at €13.75 (Namur-Auxerre-Nevers),

Here are the prices for hiring bikes: A €150 deposit along with proof of identity will be required for all rentals.
Prices :
- 1 hour: €4
- 2 hours: €6
- ½ day (3 hours): €10
- 1 day (7 hours): €18
- If you want to hire bikes more than one day, just add €16 by day.
